Duties of Saugor Cantonment Board

Main duties of the Board are as under:
Levy and recovery of municipal taxes and non-tax revenue.
Regulation of building activities and land management.
Town planning and infrastructure development.
Water supply management.
Street Lighting.
Sanitation and Hygiene.
Primary and Higher education.
Health Care
Horticulture and environmental conservation.
Registration of births and death.
The functions and duties of these departments are as prescribed above under the Cantonments Board Act, and also delegated by the CEO from time to time.
